Sports

Gawler Primary School offers students access to a wide range of SAPSASA sports. As a part of the Northern SAPSASA team our students participate in trails for:

• Swimming
• Soccer
• Football
• Netball
• Cross Country

If the students are successful they move on to represent the school at State competition of their chosen sport in Adelaide. 

Most recently Gawler Primary had 4 students represent the school at Cross Country competition at Oakbank.

District Athletics Day is another sports event Gawler Primary School Children have the opportunity to participate in. Students who achieve outstanding results at our own sports day are selected to represent Gawler Primary at the District Athletics Day hosted by Trinity College. Students who are successful there are then invited to compete at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End with other students from all over South Australia. Due to COVID-19 District Athletics has not taken place in 2019 & 2020.
