Lego League

Gawler Primary School has been involved in the First Lego League (FLL) international competition since 2019. Our FLL team is selected early each year after an application process by students. 

Known as Code Blue, the team meets one day a week after school to develop members' skills in coding, construction, problem solving and research. After the launch of the competition in Term 3 each year, we work hard to design, construct and program a robot to complete as many of the competition challenges as we can. We then compete at the Regional Competition against other FLL teams.

In 2019, Gawler Primary School's first year of participation, Code Blue won the ‘Inspiration Award’ at the Regional competition. In 2020 we won the Regional ‘Engineering Award’ and went on to the national competition! We are very proud of our students’ dedication and commitment to Lego League.
