The school community embraces Japanese language and culture through their own classrooms, Japanese sports activities on Sports day as well as whole school culture days and interactive word walls (with students recording and sharing their own Japanese speech) Students and families enjoy taking part in inter- school online challenges to explore both culture and language and Gawler Primary school has excelled in many Japanese Hiragana competitions up to a state level.
