Library

The library at Gawler Primary School is located in the heritage building. This building is the original school building and shows off the brilliant historic architecture. The perfect setting for a cosy library space.

Our library is very well stocked with classic and modern texts for the children to borrow. The library is accessed by students each lunch time for relaxed free time to explore the wonderful world of books.

Wall hangings of popular texts are displayed, painted by the children for book week some years ago. Book week is a popular event at Gawler Primary School with many activities planned by the teachers and always a dress up parade. Librarian, Trudi Enright, organises all book week texts available for teachers and students every year.
